Parallel Blue was founded in 1991 as Compass Event Management by John Denton. It became Parallel Blue in 2003. Paul Martin joined the company in 2013 after nearly 20 years working for a large corporate business and took over as MD in 2017 from John.
Senior Leadership team consists of Paul Martin as MD, Mark Harsant as Global Events and Operations Director, Sam Ambrose as Head of Events, and Ross Millward as Head of Business Development

We work cross-industry, firmly believing that we can bring new ideas and best practices to our clients from one sector to another. We presently operate in industries such as Fintech, Software, Automotive (Fleet Mgt), Banking/Finance, White goods & Health – a real mix of clients and events!

We believe the events industry has come back stronger after Covid, and its value to the economy and the clients we serve is now even more widely recognised as the preferred platform for our clients to engage their staff and customers through. We feel very well positioned to help our clients grow their own businesses through our expertise, experience, and global supplier network which we’ve built up over the last 30 years. We also have other exciting services such as Parallel Platinum – our luxury concierge service for HNW individuals – that going forward, will strengthen our business even further.
