Stadium Experience has kicked off 2026 with a strong start, welcoming six new club venues to the association, and its first athletics venue. The latest signings include; Alexander Stadium, Burnley FC, Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club, Reading FC, Somerset County Cricket Club and West Bromwich Albion FC.
These additions follow Birmingham City FC, Millwall FC, Watford FC and Wrexham AFC which joined the consortium in 2025. Stadium Experience now represents over 70 football, rugby, cricket and athletics venues nationwide.
Stadium Experience is a not-for-profit marketing consortium established in 2002. Its purpose is to share best practice across the industry and promote stadium venues as unique and prestigious locations for meetings, conferences and events. Member venues collaborate to jointly promote their facilities, network with like-minded professionals, share ideas and challenges, and participate in the prestigious Stadium Events & Hospitality Awards, now in their 19th year.

Alexander Stadium, Birmingham
Alexander Stadium located in the heart of Birmingham is the first athletics venue to join Stadium Experience. An international-standard facility, the stadium has hosted world-class events, including the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, following a landmark £72 million redevelopment delivered ahead of the Games. Alexander Stadium offers a versatile selection of spaces for conferences, meetings and events. These include a Hospitality Suite, the Annex bar and meeting room, and six premium VIP boxes, ideal for smaller meetings and all offering impressive views across the iconic athletics track. Burnley Football Club
Turf Moor is the home of Burnley Football Club in the north west. The venue offers cutting-edge facilities, a backdrop of sporting legacy and jaw-dropping pitch views, Turf Moor is not just for football fans – it’s an incredible meeting venue for Lancashire businesses. Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club
Trent Bridge Cricket Ground is the home of Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club as well as The Blaze and the Trent Rockets and is based in the heart of the East Midlands. The third oldest Test cricket ground in the world features 6 modern event spaces for up to 230 delegates, alongside 21 smaller meeting rooms and executive boxes. Reading Football Club
The Select Car Leasing Stadium is the home of Reading Football Club in Berkshire. The stadium boasts 32 flexible event spaces accommodating up to 500 guests, alongside an onsite hotel with over 200 bedrooms – Voco Reading by IHG. Somerset County Cricket Club
The Cooper Associates County Ground is home to Somerset County Cricket Club in the South West. The unique and historic venue offers seven stunning event spaces ideal for meetings, conferences, seminars, exhibitions, parties, weddings or special occasions. The largest space, the County Room, can host up to 300 in theatre style, with several additional areas available for receptions and break-out sessions. West Bromwich Albion FC
The Hawthorns is the home of West Bromwich Albion FC in the Midlands. Set in the heart of the Black Country, The Hawthorns is a versatile and distinctive venue offering a professional setting for events of all sizes. The venue caters for a wide range of occasions, including conferences, meetings, exhibitions, networking events, training days, dinners, celebrations, private functions and more. About Stadium Experience
Stadium Experience was established in 2002 to represent football stadium venues and expanded in 2013 to welcome rugby venues. In 2022, the association evolved further by including cricket venues for the first time.
The consortium’s activities include sharing best practice through regular industry networking events, joint exhibition opportunities, collaboration with event buyers and key agencies, newsletters and blogs, and its annual recognition event, the The Stadium Events & Hospitality Awards and more.
