The Kia Oval has announced the latest wave of investment with £1.4 million to continue the work to refurbish the conference & event spaces at the iconic central London venue. Building on more than £5 million of investment in the last 2 years, the latest project will see the redevelopment of the major event spaces in the JM Finn stand.
The work will see the popular ‘Ashes’ and ‘England’ Suites, two of the largest suites which can facilitate up to 700 guests, undergo significant refurbishment to bring them in line with some of the most premium spaces in the venue offering superb facilities with open views across the pitch at the iconic Pavilion.
In the historic Micky Stewart Members’ Pavilion, there have been upgrades across multiple areas with A/C, heating and the latest tech solutions added as well as redecoration to ensure the rooms are kept up to the high standards of the ground and blend the remarkable history of the Club and modern event facility requirements.
The last year has seen the India, Pakistan and John Major Rooms in the JM Finn stand significantly re-developed alongside the complete re-fit of the majority of hospitality boxes. Meanwhile, in the Bedser stand, over £4 million has been invested in 2025 in the development of state of the art dressing rooms, which are available for events during an extremely limited and exclusive period in the off-season, and the renovation of the fourth floor of the Bedser Stand. The new Vantage suite is a versatile space for events, dining and conferences with panoramic views of the playing field and the historic gas holder that is synonymous with the history of the ground.
Together, these improvements have expanded the range of spaces available and provided clients with greater choice when planning events at the Kia Oval.

The next major phase of the investment will see a £1.4 million refurbishment of the JM Finn Stand this winter, with the updated spaces scheduled to launch at the start of March 2027.
The refurbishment will significantly enhance the stand’s key event spaces, with updated interiors and improved facilities, while retaining the character and heritage of the Kia Oval.
Adrian Wells, Commercial Director at the Kia Oval, said “We are always looking to ensure that the venue remains one of the best facilities in the country and these works are the latest in our long-term plan. We want to provide guests with a premium experience when they visit that integrate the rich history of the Club and offer incredible views across the stadium and of the London skyline.”
The refurbished JM Finn Stand will open to events from March 2027, with further details on the updated spaces to be announced ahead of the launch.
