The countdown is officially on, with just one week to go until the Unique Venues of London Showcase takes over Somerset House on Tuesday 6 October.
Bringing together an incredible collection of London’s most distinctive event venues under one roof, the Showcase offers event buyers and bookers a rare opportunity to meet the people behind the spaces, discover new venues and discuss future events – all in one morning.
And there’s plenty more happening beyond the venue showcase.
Three live sessions will tackle some of the biggest conversations shaping events today, including the realities of delivering events in unique venues, sustainability, accessibility and inclusion, and how the next generation is changing expectations around event experiences.
Speakers across the programme include Claire Gardener of Eventful, Matt Grey of Event Decision, Julia Danmeri of TranslateAble, Zoe Light of Asembl, Clare Arouche of The National Gallery, Martin Dibbens of Premier Crew Ltd and Lucy Eden of Be in Your Element to name a few!
Guests can also expect breakfast and lunch from Butch Salads, drinks supported by Premier Crew, and the opportunity to discover low and no alcohol options from Wild Idol and Pentire, alongside plenty of time for networking and conversation.
Kizzy Allott, Publisher of Event Industry News, said:
“The excitement is really building now. Having so many brilliant London venues together in one place is a fantastic opportunity for buyers – you could spend weeks arranging individual meetings and visits and still not achieve what you can in one morning at the Showcase.
“Add in some genuinely useful conversations on stage, great food and drinks and lots of opportunities to meet people, and I think we’ve created a morning that will be really worthwhile. I can’t wait to welcome everyone to Somerset House next week.”
With just days to go, organisers are also reminding anyone planning to attend that the Showcase is strictly a pre-registered event for event buyers, bookers and planners.
Attendees must register in advance and have their place confirmed. It will not be possible to simply arrive and register on the day.
The Unique Venues of London Showcase takes place at Somerset House on Tuesday 6 October 2026, from 9am–2pm, you can pop in for as long as you wish.
