Wellcome Collection is a free museum and library that aims to challenge how we all think and feel about health. Through exhibitions, collections, live programming, digital, broadcast and publishing, we create opportunities for people to think deeply about the connections between science, medicine, life and art. Wellcome Collection is part of Wellcome Trust, which is an independent global charitable foundation, which aims to improve health for everyone by helping great ideas to thrive, all profits from events held in Wellcome Collection are gift aided back to Wellcome Trust.

Wellcome Collection houses a selection of flexible event spaces including a conference centre which offers a tiered auditorium for 154 theatre style in the centre, surrounded by four contemporary meeting rooms that can accommodate anything from boardroom, team meetings through to product launches and networking events. To round off an event the private dining room is a bright space for intimate dinners, or indeed use one of the public areas for post event drinks receptions.

In addition to the conference centre there are four public exhibition galleries, one of which, Medicine Now, an exhibition encouraging visitors to consider their relationship to health as contemporary artists respond to major themes in medicine, can be transformed into a unique space for private drinks receptions, in addition to this the Reading Room; a hybrid of gallery, library and events space, is a great space to hold a drinks reception for up to 160 surrounded by over a thousand books and hundreds of objects including contemporary sculptures, paintings, medical artefacts and manuscripts. For those larger events the Atrium space is a fully flexible space for drinks receptions for up to 395. Whatever the event, Wellcome Collections event spaces offer beautifully, light modern spaces with art from the collections inspiring delegates and visitors for all types of events from board meetings, AGM`s through to drinks receptions and dinners.

Wellcome Collection can offer additional activities on request, for example private tours for up to 20 guests of its permanent and temporary exhibitions offering delegates an added value to their experience. As well as object handling in the Medicine Now Gallery, guests can interact with some of Henry Wellcome’s collection that at one point had more objects than that of the Louvre Museum. In addition, senior members of Wellcome can, on request and subject to commitments, give short introductory talks to supplement a an event and bring the work that Wellcome does to the audience.
