Iconic event space Victoria Warehouse have been shortlisted for ‘Best Unusual Venue’ at this year’s National Venue Awards. The nationwide awards showcase the excellence of venues from anywhere in the UK, focusing on their facilities, innovation, service level and contribution to the events industry.

The National Venue Awards, organised by GCN Events contain 21 categories to suit all types of venues hosting a events such as gala dinners, conferences, weddings and exhibitions. The awards will be judged by a panel of key influencers representing expertise from every facet of the industry. Key personalities within the sector included in the judging panel this year are; Ian Edwards, Chief Executive at the Celtic Manor Collection, Kerrin MacPhie, Head of Business Events at VisitBritain and Heather Carter, Director at Blenheim Palace.

The team at Victoria Warehouse are delighted to be recognised nationally for their contribution to events and hospitality. With an aim to ‘be the place everyone is taking about’, this is certainly a step in the right direction. The ceremony itself takes place here in Manchester at Emirates Old Trafford on 11th May, it’s set to be a great night with event professionals attending from all over the country.
