Universal Live have invested substantially in a new headquarters in West Yorkshire, officially moving into their new purpose-built site on Friday 11th June 2021.

The move is a major game-changer for the technical events company who had been at their previous head office since 1996. Over the 15 years at their Bradford head office, Universal Live has grown in people, skills and technical equipment, outgrowing their office and warehouse spaces. The decision was made to move to somewhere where they could offer a better service level to their clients.

Construction work on the new state of the art purpose-built office and warehouse began before the initial lockdown, but this came to a halt to protect everyone involved in the refit, with building work recommencing later on that year. The new site comprises of 18,923 square feet of office, meeting and warehouse space, within that you will find two gallery studios where they run virtual events for their clients, which complements and works alongside their Manchester broadcast studio perfectly.

Universal Live’s new headquarters allows the company to continue to grow in both the live and virtual hybrid events industry, with their warehouse allowing for more than ample space to invest and store new equipment, easily loaded and sent to anywhere in the world.

Speaking about the move Kirsty Waine, the managing director of Universal Live had the following to say: “We are so glad to have officially moved into our new head office, this has been a long-time coming for us and, there has been significant planning and research into the best premises to move into, which to allow for us to continue to grow and offer the best service to our clients.

Our new site allows us to do just that and much more, we have a great virtual solution within the same building, which clients can use for their virtual and hybrid events, truck loading efficiency will be increased tenfold with all kit under one roof and door to truck load in and out.

We are so excited for what the future holds and this is definitely the best step forward for the company, our team and our clients.”

The upgraded office and warehouse environments will bring effectiveness to the whole operations team in addition to enabling the Universal Live team to deliver the best events that they can, on time with the very best in new technology and the team that goes with it!
