Unicorn Events has expanded its team once again after record growth both within its current client base and significant new business wins for the creative brand experience agency. Amongst those joining the company are; Pete Starling as senior designer and Edward Hoskins as business development manager.

Pete Starling joins Unicorn Events with a career in which his design and creative work had been employed for exhibitions, events and as a concept artist for the film industry. Starling will head up all in-house design services ranging from live event fit-outs to a variety of creative concepts and design application for Unicorn’s leading clients.

Ed Hoskins also joins this month from the hospitality and food and beverage industry. He will be responsible for driving revenue and new business as well as progressing business and proposals for current clients.

Managing director, Hannah Luffman, said, “I am overjoyed that Pete and Ed have joined the team. We have hired from outside the industry for both roles to diversify our experience base. The hire of a full-time senior designer is a very exciting step for us in increasing our creative studio offering.”

Two other new-starters also join the agency this month. Sophie Parratt joins as project manager, leading in logistics and delegate management for global client events, and Joanna Davis joins from Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group as personal assistant to managing director.

Luffman continued, “It is an incredibly exciting time at the agency as we start to offer services beyond event management bringing us in line with larger creative experience agencies.”

In March 2019, Jennifer Guy also joined as project manager and Emily Ash as marketing and communications coordinator.
