The East of England Arena and Events Centre (EEAEC) has announced the return of the UK Produce Industry Fair to the venue for its 2018 show, September 12 – 13, 2018.

Trevor Hyde, UK Industry Produce Fair chairman, explained the decision to return to the EEAEC for a second year, saying “The East of England Arena is perfect for our growing needs and the success of last year’s show demonstrated that to us. The arena is in the heart of a major UK food producing area and it’s easy to access with excellent road and rail links, and even specially discounted fares on Virgin trains. The Arena is definitely the most accessible venue for our target audience of managers and decision-makers in the produce industry.”

The fair is organised by leading members of the UK produce industry and provides a showcase for businesses involved in every part of the UK food chain, from food growers and food importers, to packaging and distribution services. The Fair follows a traditional exhibition format, with a mixture of shell scheme and space-only stands in the main hall, and an extensive outdoor static display of agricultural and logistics vehicles and machinery.

This years’ event will also include an informal gala dinner on the Wednesday evening, in one of the adjoining conference suites, with staging, lighting and catering delivered by EEAEC and its partners.

Dean Rees, EEAEC’s business development manager, welcomed the news saying, “I’m delighted that the UK Produce Industry Fair has chosen East of England Arena for a second time. The fair proved to have a very successful first year here, and we’re all looking forward to helping it build on that success.”
