TRC appoints new chief technology officer

TRC, a provider of on-site event technology and services to brands like WeWork, Farmers & Deloitte, has announced the appointment of Brent Pearson as the new chief technology officer.

Pearson, a seasoned IT executive with two decades of proven experience in the event technology, technology-enabled services, and software sectors will be spearheading TRC’s product roadmap, focused around event data and attendee analytics.

The appointment comes hand-in-hand with TRC’s recent release of TRCBLE, a Bluetooth Low Energy-enabled attendee tracking solution and data analytics tool.

“Brent’s expertise and extensive background in data, data analytics and system design makes him the perfect leader to head up our technology development. Event experience doesn’t end with on-demand badging. We’re on a mission to provide insightful data to marketers and planners alike and bringing on board a domain expert in data analytics is the perfect next step,” commented CEO and founder, Greg Lazzaro.

Pearson has been in leadership positions for several technology companies from start-ups to large publicly-traded corporations. He recently relocated to Portland, OR, after working in the San Francisco Bay area for the past 18 years.

He said: “I’m excited about this new challenge and opportunity and look forward to working with a team that’s long-known in the industry as service leaders. Working directly at the source of the critical data allows us to have a real impact for our customers and for the industry.”
