Creative communications agency, Top Banana, today celebrate the promotion of 7 of their valued employees. The promoted positions are from across the business including their marketing, design, events and leadership team. This follows the promotion of Jemma Peers to Managing Director in January of this year.

Jemma Peers, comments “Whilst the past 12 months has been a challenging time in many ways, we are really proud of how our team embraced the change, overcame the challenges and continued to deliver outstanding work for our clients. Many of our employees had to take on extra responsibility and upskill in different areas as a result of us having to react quickly in adapting and diversifying who we were as a business. As a leadership team we decided not to let the pandemic stand in the way of their career goals, but to instead recognise their hard work and progression. Given the tough year 2020 was, it feels extra special to be celebrating our people and kicking off 2021 in a positive way.”

Jade Langston is one of the many great examples of how the agency support, nurture and develop their team. Joining Top Banana in 2009 as a Production Assistant, Jade has worked her way up the business, growing her skillset, experience, and knowledge and as a result has just been promoted to Client Services and Commercial Director. Joining the leadership team, Jade will continue to work closely with her clients, but also play a key role in commercially driving the agency forward in 2021 and beyond.

Also joining the leadership team is Marc Hazelden, who has been promoted to Client Strategy and Innovation Director. In this newly created role, Marc will be responsible for shaping the strategy around how the agency work with their clients and looking to the future of how the business can not only maximise the current service offering, but how they continue to diversify in the future.

Marc comments “I really feel like Top Banana are entering a really exciting new chapter, so becoming part of the leadership team is very exciting. We’ve always been an agile agency, which we’ve proven most recently with how quickly we adapted as a result of the global pandemic. We’ve always managed to stay ahead of the curve and I’m excited that my new role will play a part in providing insight and developing strategy for us to continue our growth in the future. I’m looking forward to being part of the strong leadership team and helping to pave a successful path for the business.”

Other promotions within the agency include Charlotte Jarman to Account Director, Kaylea Blindell to Project Manager, Joanna Darby to Marketing Executive, Lauren Ecob to Project Manager and Milly Hilton to Senior Graphic Designer. Congratulations to all.
