Uniquely offering two first class campuses, one set in a park and another on a beach, we have been hosting events of all shapes and sizes in Swansea for almost a century amongst our hundreds of affordable and versatile meeting rooms.

Whether you need a large lecture theatre, or a smaller main plenary space with lots of nearby breakout rooms for networking sessions, it can be accommodated at Swansea University. 

Our Bay Campus, just minutes from the M4, is centred around our iconic, multi-purpose Great Hall with the 700 seat Sir Stanley Clarke Auditorium and numerous breakout spaces with state of the art AV that you can expect from an academic venue. The seating in the Auditorium retracts, transforming the room into an impressive flat floor space ideal for exhibitions and gala dinners. Running alongside the Auditorium are two galleries with an idyllic view of Swansea Bay, perfect for drinks receptions and networking lunches.

The adjacent School of Management building with its outstanding glass Atrium and a range of Harvard-style meeting rooms, working spaces and common rooms is the perfect space for breakout sessions from the Great Hall, or can be used as a venue for smaller conferences, events and exhibitions.

Set in parkland overlooking Swansea Bay, our Singleton Park Campus offers a range of versatile event venues to suit all your meeting needs. All rooms come with first class AV facilities, WIFI and video conferencing facilities, including a range of fully equipped IT training suites.

At the heart of the campus is the Grade II listed Fulton House, with The Refectory being Singleton Park’s largest flat-floor space with a lovely terrace area and spectacular views over Swansea Bay, perfect for gala dinners, receptions and functions of all kinds.

Fulton House, Callaghan, Grove and Wallace buildings also offer a host of accompanying event spaces, conference and meeting rooms, which can be used for anything from workshops and seminars to smaller exhibitions and receptions. 

With a bright and spacious foyer, a large tiered lecture theatre that seats up to 250 people and a series of smaller theatres and meeting room’s available for breakout sessions, the Faraday building is perfect for large meetings, conferences and events. 

Singleton Park Campus also offers easy access to our International Sports Village and the Wales National Pool Swansea, making it a favourite venue for sporting events from all over the world.

Excellent event catering can help create a truly memorable delegate experience and our experienced, in house catering team are used to catering for thousands of students and staff on a daily basis. So whether you are running a residential conference for hundreds of international delegates, hosting an intimate business lunch, or seeking snacks to tide your guests over, our catering team will work with you to develop a dietary friendly menu that fits perfectly with the essence of your event.

From July-September, Swansea University offers delegates the convenience of staying onsite in affordable en-suite campus accommodation a stone’s throw away from all meeting and event spaces. When accommodation is unavailable on campus, our helpful events team can help you to find accommodation in a number of city centre hotels, an ideal location to explore Swansea Bay.

Delegates attending events at Swansea University have access to excellent facilities on both campuses, including cafés and bars, coffee shops, supermarkets, gym and sporting facilities. Our enviable location on Swansea Bay also means there is a beach, literally on our doorstep. Bay Campus is lucky enough to have its own private beach and nature reserve, Crymlyn Burrows where the dunes, saltmarsh and beach are protected as a Site of Special Scientific Interest.
