Silverstone Circuits Ltd has announced The Silverstone Experience Centre will open in spring 2019. The state-of-the-art interactive experience will be housed in the venue’s last remaining World War II hangar and will provide guests with the opportunity to discover the venue’s heritage with a two-and-a-half-hour journey through the past, present and future of Silverstone and British motor racing.

Guests will find interactive displays on the evolution of the venue from a World War II airfield to the iconic home of the British Grand Prix, find out about past motor racing legends and learn about the complex technology used in today’s fastest cars. There is also an opportunity for attendees to explore the heritage walking track trail of Bridge and Luffield – two of the circuit’s famous corners.

Nick Read, Commercial Director at Silverstone Circuits Ltd, commented: “The Silverstone Experience Centre will allow us to broaden our appeal even further with a lively and interactive attraction that can be added to a meeting or event itinerary. This, coupled with the new Hilton Garden Inn hotel will help to bolster delegates’ overall experience at Silverstone.”

The Silverstone Experience Centre will be open daily, except for Christmas Day. The Silverstone Experience is located at the main entrance of Silverstone Circuit, which is easily accessible via the A43 dual carriageway from either the M40 or M1. The nearest train stations are Northampton, Banbury and Milton Keynes, which offer fast connections to destinations throughout the country.
