The Original Events Company formed in December 2017 by Matt Hodgins and Austen Hawkins have released information about their plans for 2019 which not only sees the launch of new events but also a new temporary home to accommodate them.

As well providing the setting for their own projects, the new ‘Immerse’ venue will be available for hire for a limited number of dates next March. The venue consists of a 32m x 70m main exhibition hall with 9 smaller breakout spaces accessed via the main hall. This offers a total of 2840 square metres of pillar-free space.

The venue will be located in picturesque Highbury Fields area of Islington a 5-minute walk from Highbury and Islington station which is, in turn, one stop from Kings Cross.

Announcing plans for the new venue Hodgins commented, ‘This is a great place for our own launches offering a very central location and a very attractive setting close to fantastic shopping, bars and restaurants. As well as being our London base next Spring we are keen to speak to other organisers with ideas that may suit this space. We would actively encourage anyone with an idea that needs some support to get in touch as we are open to joint ventures with enterprising individuals and companies.’

As well as offering a launchpad for new ventures the owners have indicated that they will also consider submissions from organisers and agencies looking for venue hire.
