The Kia Oval has become a hidden gem for organisers looking for the perfect spot for their conferences and events. Benefiting from parking for up to 50 cars onsite and 4 minutes walking time from the transport hub of Vauxhall you won’t find a central London venue with such accessible transport links and free parking.

The ground boasts an incredible array of rooms in two separate stands which are less than 3 minutes’ walk from each other. Many of our events take place in our purpose-built OCS Stand which was opened in 2005. This building houses over 25 separate rooms each built to be flooded with natural daylight. Our Jardine Suite spreads over the ground floor of the building which over 1500m2 of exhibition space and vehicular access. All other rooms in this stand can be reached by two central staircases meaning each room is minutes from one another. The OCS Stand has the great advantage of having access out on to the seats and outside space for each of the rooms with 6 rooms leading out onto covered terrace areas. In fact, the entire OCS stand is topped with the magnificent Corinthian Roof Terrace with sweeping panoramic views across London which is perfect for Summer Parties.
In more recent times the venue has been granted full planning permission for another incredible three-tier stand comprising of two main rooms each with their own terrace, four breakout rooms and crowned with a magnificent Roof Terrace to rival the hugely popular Corinthian Roof Terrace. The development, dubbed One Oval Square, will hugely improve the facilities available for holding Conferences and Events at the ground, a side of the business that has multiplied many times over in recent years. Now we’re taking it to the next level.
Construction, which is due to begin in October 2019, will be phased over one and a half years and is planned to be completed by the start of the 2021. As the development is situated on the, alongside the historic Pavilion, there is expected to be no disturbance to the thriving Conference and Events business that the venue already operates daily. The Kia Oval’s events business will therefore continue to grow until the launch of the new stand in 2021.
