The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation has chosen eventpowwow to support their 2018 events, the first being Forum 2018, their triannual world conference, being held from Tuesday 30th October to Sunday 4th November, in Accra, Ghana.
eventpowwow is a unique platform that allows unlimited events to be supported with a fully responsive website together with an iOS and Android native app for each event – all managed via a single content management system (CMS) for ease of content creation and speed of updating.
A custom Sage Pay integration to accept registrations and payments allows for various ticket types and discounts, all easily managed through the admin interface of the CMS.
Additional granular session control management allows private and pre-opted in delegate management, giving truly personalised agendas for delegates and session control for Intaward organisers.
The Forum in Ghana enables delegates to meet from all over the world and share best practice, troubleshoot issues and celebrate the success of the Award.
During the Forum delegates will have the opportunity to discuss the Award’s global development, understand the context in which they are all working and to have a say on new policies and plans.
This Forum’s theme: “Shaping the future, shaping our world” brilliantly summarises the opportunity to help shape the future for young people and position the Award as the leading proponent of non-formal education.
Practical sessions will focus on how to improve the Access, Reach and Impact of the Award globally and include a mixture of speakers from within the Association and external experts across a range of topics.
So pre, during and post the Forum the eventpowwow platform offers delegates all the information, direction and interaction they are likely to require making the most of their time. The organisers also gain valuable insights and feedback via session ratings, comments and polling functionality to ensure that the next Forum also benefits.
