On Thursday 8th March, Street Feast’s Dinerama hosted an International Women’s Day party in their rooftop wine garden, Winerama, to celebrate women working in the events, marketing and hospitality industry. Guests were served a selection of wine and street food produced by female entrepreneurs.

Amongst many, the international law firm Allen & Overy were in attendance, as well as, Barclays and renowned Hire Space and Wonder London.

Guests enjoyed a selection of delicious wines, kicking things off with an organic Rheingau Riesling – a white wine produced in 2016 by the vineyard owner and winemaker, Eva Fricke. Next up was the Chateau Franc-Cardinal, a delicious Claret from the 2012 vintage, pressed by Chateau owner Sophie Holzberg.

Guests were also served a hand-picked menu of fantastic street food dishes, curated by female entrepreneurs Lisa Meyer (Yum Bun), Meriel Armitage (Club Mexicana) and Betsy Buckner and partner Jo Ryan (You Doughnut). The feast included pillowy, soft steamed bao buns, fresh dumplings with spicy sauces, magnificent vegan tacos and sweet, fluffy doughnut bites with crunchy toppings.

After bellies were full, guests were treated to a drop of wine knowledge from the Street Feast wine master Beth, followed by an overview of the female traders and their rise to success by the events team. Newcomers to the Dinerama venue were also given a full site tour, so enjoyable they stayed on to experience all that was on offer during the normal evening trade once the event came to a wrap.
