London based events agency, Story Events have marked their fifth birthday celebrations with a party for staff and partners at Victorian Bath House.

This award-winning agency has grown from turning over £3.1m in its first full year of trading, to a forecasted £7.7m in their current year.  This growth has been delivered across all three business areas and the team now boasts a team of 24 full-time staff, including three event management interns as part of their ongoing commitment to developing industry talent.

The bespoke arm of the business has been built around the retention and development of key clients including Waitrose, London Business School, UKTV and LinkedIn, whilst its venue finding brand, Venue Search London has witnessed an annual growth of over 20% in each of the last four years.

The company have just opened the registration for their London Summer Event Show at Banking Hall in January, the 10th in the series of their award-winning seasonal event shows, which witnessed record revenues and attendances in 2018.

MD Steph Eayrs commented, “Whilst we understand that our clients are very much at the centre of everything we do, it is in developing our amazing and dedicated team of people that have been at the very heart of our growth.

It was great to welcome the wider Story family to our anniversary party and we appreciate the commitment and long hours worked by our team at peak sales and event delivery periods.”

To accommodate future growth, Story is planning a move to a new West End office in early 2019 and are currently researching a range of exciting new brands and concepts to diversify and add to their current portfolio.
