Stand Out brings positive and exciting news to our creative and strong industry. It’s time for The Crystals – an awards programme that does not include a judging panel and is voted for by the events industry.

Stand Out has launched The Crystals 2020, a dedicated and quick to enter industry awards, but in a “stand out” way…

Events professionals have until 31st March to vote for their Favourite UK Event and their Favourite UK Event Supplier. That’s it. There are just two categories and there are 30 “Crystals” to be awarded, ranked 1st – 15th in each category.

Caroline Clift, editor of Stand Out magazine, explained: “Stand Out will celebrate its 15th anniversary this May. What better way to mark 15 years in the business than by recognising the top 15 UK events and UK event suppliers?

“We are asking events industry professionals to vote for their Favourite UK Event and also their Favourite UK Event Supplier. The votes will be counted and both the top 15 events and top 15 suppliers will be awarded their ‘Crystal’, a specially designed trophy becoming part of an elite network of event businesses.”

The awards are simple to enter; it takes just 60 seconds to vote. What’s more, it doesn’t cost a penny to enter.

Clift continued: “For years, our readers have been asking why we have not launched our own Stand Out magazine or Event Buyers Live awards. We have always wanted to do something that is different, and something that is not going to take readers a lot of time.

“We appreciate the time pressures that events professionals face so we felt it was right that event organisers and suppliers should be recognised for their hard work, but without asking people to spend precious time filling in onerous forms, attending another awards ceremony and being mindful of our carbon footprint.”

The winners of the top 15 Favourite UK Events (ranked 1st to 15th) and the top 15 Favourite UK Event Suppliers (ranked 1st to 15th) will be awarded their “Crystal”. The ranking will be revealed in the May issue of Stand Out magazine, the magazine’s 150th and 15th anniversary edition.
