Somerset House Corporate Events Team have announced the launch of a new outdoor space that’s ideal for product launches and brand activations designed to inspire the general public.

Lancaster Place is situated on the west side of Somerset House next to Skye Gyngell’s highly-popular Spring Restaurant by Waterloo Bridge, and as a result experiences a higher level of footfall than anywhere else on the site.

The 250 square metres of available space can now be used by event organisers for all kinds of brand activations, product launches and experiential marketing projects.

Lancaster Place is centrally located near Covent Garden and can be easily reached from Waterloo Station. The large, paved outdoor space experiences a large daily footfall due to its proximity to Waterloo Bridge, linking the Southbank to central London and Covent Garden.

Jenny Freestone, Head of Corporate Events at Somerset House, comments: “We are delighted to be adding Lancaster Place to our existing diverse range of events spaces. This large outdoor area provides the ideal opportunity for brands to inspire the public who walk past our historic building every day.”

Enquiries have already started to come in from companies interested in outdoor product launches and brand activations since the events team launched the new space.

Event professionals looking to hire Lancaster Place are invited to contact the Corporate Events Team via events@somersethouse.org.uk for more details.
