This October, Site Equip Ltd will be celebrating 30 years of outstanding service, hiring portable toilets, luxury toilet trailers and mobile showers, to the event industry under the banner of Site Event.
Site Event were the first to bring portable toilets into the UK market from the USA. From 3 toilets in 1988 their fleet has grown to over 3,000, including portable toilets, luxury toilet trailers and their famous themed units. Site Event have also diversified into showers, ticket booths, fencing and trackway.
With their 30th year being Site Event’s biggest year so far, at the peak having over 2,500 loos on hire, they are looking forward to the next 30 years. The Site Event team are aiming to increasing the quality of hire equipment offered across the industry and supporting that with the excellent service they offer.
At the Showman’s Show, Site Event will be showcasing the latest addition to the growing fleet, Vacuum Pods, they allow for a luxurious and eco-friendly option for event organisers. They have hefty environmental credentials including the reduction in water consumption 0.5L per flush compared with 9L in a traditional toilet, reducing carbon footprint by 75%, as Site Event can deliver 4 pod’s on one transportation load, rather than traditionally 4 vehicle trips and no longer using blue chemicals within the units. The vacuum pod’s have been well received, throughout this summer, so much so they are close to being fully booked for summer 2019! Which will mean a very busy winter for the Site Build team!
