Event Industry News caught up with the co-director, Johnny Lance, to learn what this year’s show had to offer the event industry.

This year, The Showman’s Show welcomed over 325 exhibitors from all around the world to showcase their most innovative products and services. It received a significant increase in international exhibitors, indicating the strength of the UK event industry. Lance described the increase as “a real confidence boost” for the direction of the UK market.

The show also welcomed back the Festival Vision 2025 Conference. Lance said: “It was a real honour to be able to host them again. This year, we opened it up to not only the Festival Vision members but to all the visitors attending the show.” This was to better share the conference’s experience and knowledge to the industry.

In keeping with its theme of sustainability, the Showman’s Show also partnered with Energy Revolution to balance the emissions the event produces. “We also encouraged our visitors and exhibitors to balance their journeys to the Showman’s Show this year.”

Founded in 1984, The Showman’s Show attracts an average of 4,500 visitors. It was designed to showcase the very best equipment, products, services and structures demanded by the event industry.
