REM has promoted Lily Brimble, after three and a half years with the company, to the role of Senior Project Manager, October 2018.

Lily began as an intern with REM in 2014, then her love of live events saw her join REM as a permanent team member in 2015, having successfully completing her Business Management and Marketing degree at UWE Bristol.

Managing director Ben Hardy comments:

“Lily has been a great asset to our team since joining and we’re delighted that she will add to REM’s future offering to clients. She is organised and calm under pressure way beyond her years. This summer we’ve seen how much confidence and trust our clients place in her delivering some complex events. This is a well deserved promotion.”

This year’s standout moments for Lily included “getting forty of the most popular special shape balloons at the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta this year to celebrate the event’s 40th anniversary, with Rupert the Bear inflating in the arena to a huge cheer from the crowd was particularly special.

“Keeping the Roni Size headline performance at the Harbour Festival a secret until the afternoon of the performance and then watching thousands of Bristolians descend on the Amphitheatre for the gig was also a great feeling.”

With this promotion Lily is set to be behind the scenes producing more magic moments for years to come.
