Leading exhibition specialists Quadrant2Design have made multiple changes to their bespoke production and pre-build factory in Poole, UK ahead of a busy first quarter in 2018.

The changes implemented have dramatically boosted efficiency in ways of working and created further space to successfully pre-build every exhibition stand ahead of the client’s show, a staple of their mission and values.

Quadrant2Design reside in a 9,000 sq. ft. unit in Dorset and began planning the overhaul in November, completing the changes late December, before the New Year. To maximise their dedicated pre-build space, Quadrant2Design laid brand new carpet across the 16m x 32m floor, and successfully moved all their Prestige Events System components to build with into the open space on newly installed racking, enabling the installation team the ability to quickly source the kit they need whilst pre-building.

By moving these components, a brand new open space has been created to install a dedicated parts manufacturing area. Jason Tonkin, Manufacturer & Operative, will lead this zone to in-house manufacture components for the tailored showcases featured on Quadrant2Design’s exhibition stands.

These three major changes have allowed Quadrant2Design to develop to demand in 2018 whilst maintaining high-quality standards. Harry Clegg, Production Manager, said, “This strategic update to our pre-build factory has massively improved efficiency, ways of working for the whole team and created more space for us to evolve and expand in the coming months.”
