The Scottish Event Campus now boasts 1,027 hotel bedrooms within a five-minute walk of the venue. The hotly anticipated Radisson Red officially opens this week, bringing a unique, artistic offering to the market.

The hotel is the first purpose-built Radisson RED in Europe and features quirky artwork, plentiful networking space and a fantastic rooftop bar for pre and post event drinks overlooking the SEC.

The SEC is now surrounded by hotels which cater for all budgets and tastes, meaning that organisers can house over 1,000 of their event attendees within just a few minutes’ walk of the venue’s doors.

With almost 10,000 hotel bedrooms within a two-kilometre radius of the SEC, there is plenty of capacity for larger congresses and events.

“The campus is evolving and the addition of the Radisson RED is just one example,” comments Kathleen Warden, Director of Conference Sales at the SEC. “The SEC’s conference offering is unique and includes a combination of hotels, meeting space, technology and social programme venues that mean organisers can create exceptional experiences for their delegates and sponsors.

“In the past five years, the neighbourhood and campus have transformed, with three new hotels (3 and 4 star), over 40 bars and restaurants, and The Clydeside Distillery added just last year. The Campus is an exciting event destination.”
