The event planning platform, OnePlan, has now been used by over 2,000 events worldwide, according to its latest monthly data.

OnePlan, billed as ‘the operating system for live events’, releases insights about the events industry each month via its blog, based on its user data. The May 2021 data also shows a high volume of use of its Social Distancing Toolkit, with over 32,000 metres of event spaces designed specifically for social distancing in the last month.

The 2,000 events milestone has been achieved in a period when live events and festivals have resumed following trials in many countries. OnePlan’s 2,000+ events have taken place in over 50 countries and have included road events, festivals and regional events as well as for sport with Premier League football and NBA teams using the platform.

The latest month’s data released by OnePlan also shows 287,000 kilometres of Routes and Wayfinding placed by its event creators in May, as well as a 115% month-on-month increase in Swim areas plotted at events – including the Man vs Coast festival.

The latest data comes a few weeks before OnePlan is due to release a newly designed user interface. It follows the recent launch of its hyper-realistic 3D Venue Twin solution for stadiums and arenas.

Paul Foster, OnePlan’s CEO said, “We’re proud to have already been trusted by over 2,000 events in 50 countries. We’re seeing more users flock to OnePlan to accurately plan live events and festivals, in a simpler way than they’ve ever done before.

“With more events designed on OnePlan, we’re able to identify and share up-to-date event intelligence that can help organisers in their end-to-end process, from planning to procurement to on-site management.

“Our latest user data shows a continued need for accurate and easy-to-use social distancing tools within an event plan. We’re grateful to our customers for the feedback they give us so we can continuously improve OnePlan to help them answer the new challenges faced by event organisers.”
