Organisers of London Build Expo, the leading construction and design show in the UK, say they are delighted with the results from its partnership with event tech provider Gleanin.

London Build Expo which took place on 23rd October 2018 at Olympia, London welcomed 300 exhibiting companies and saw the Olympia London buzzing with construction professionals from UK contractors, architects, engineers, developers, government and more.

The exhibition is organised by Oliver Kinross and forms part of a global portfolio of construction exhibitions (the ‘BUILD’ portfolio), which take place in New York, Australia, Scotland and New Zealand.

Gleanin Connect, the award-winning referral marketing platform was used in conjunction with registration company Circdata, saw 13% of all registrants promoting their event attendance to their networks via personal invites and social media broadcasts. These referrals generated 8% of the event’s total visitor registration.

Encouraging registrants to share their attendance and invite their contacts and connections via the Gleanin Connect platform turns visitors into event advocates and allows organisers to reach new audiences.

Neil McKenzie, Managing Director at Oliver Kinross commented: “Gleanin is brilliant, because it works. Simple as that. Social media is such a powerful tool for promoting exhibitions and Gleanin allows our attendees to spread the message to their networks that they are attending our shows. Best of all it’s all automated so we can set it up easily and then sit back and let it promote our shows for us and increase our visitor numbers. London Build was exceptionally busy this year and Gleanin has become an essential part of the show’s success”

Following on from the exceptional results delivered by Gleanin Connect on London Build Expo, Oliver Kinross have confirmed their partnership with Gleanin going forward and registration is already live for their next event in New York, which takes place on the 12-13 March 2019.

Tamar Beck, CEO at Gleanin says “As with many of our clients working in the industrial communities, Oliver Kinross saw a large number of registrants helping the visitor acquisition campaign by becoming event advocates and inviting their colleagues to register via the Gleanin platform.”

“We’re pleased to be working with the team at Oliver Kinross and across their international event portfolio.”
