The National Railway Museum in York has further strengthened its events team with two new corporate sales executives: Sarah Marshall (pictured left) and Nicole Carter (pictured right).

With a degree in Events Management, Sarah brings valuable experience from her previous roles in an events agency and theatres in both York and Sheffield, while Nicole’s career in hotels led her to take up a position in meetings and events for two years, before joining the museum’s events team.

Both Sarah and Nicole are responsible for selling of the National Railway Museum’s event spaces as well as those in the National Science and Media Museum in Bradford, undertaking show-rounds and liaising with clients alongside assisting with online marketing of the venues.

Ahead of the National Railway Museum’s new Christmas package for 2019 – welcoming 14-piece band Kudos for a series of showstopping bespoke Christmas parties – Sarah and Nicole have already proved invaluable in promoting the festive activities around York.

Helen Beresford-Boyse, the event sales manager at the National Railway Museum, said: “We are thrilled to have Sarah and Nicole on the team – both have not only great industry experience but real enthusiasm and genuine passion for the museum and its capabilities. As we gear up for the Christmas season and look ahead to 2020, we’ve got a great team in place and are excited for things to come!”
