Maritim Hotels has strengthened its UK sales force with the appointment of Michael Rogerson as account manager. 

Michael joins the Maritim UK team with over 35 years of travel and hospitality experience, having worked in every aspect of the industry, from tour operator to global hotel sales. Among his many achievements include winning the prestigious Hotel Account Manager of the Year award from the British travel consortia Advantage (known also as Win) in 2016 and 2017. 

In his new role, Michael will proactively engage with key stakeholders and conference agents to support Maritim’s portfolio, helping to continue to enhance revenues for the brand in the MICE sector. He will also be responsible for liaising with Maritim’s key German MICE hotels to increase market share in the UK conference agent market.

Commenting on his position Michael explained: “I am delighted to be joining Maritim at this exciting stage of the company’s development. I’m looking forward to working closely with Maritim’s event experts and professional conference organisers to all ensure events surpass client expectations and repeat business is quickly confirmed.”
