The Church House Westminster has strengthened its expert events team with new appointment, Lauren McKenzie, who will act as event coordinator.

The new appointment brings the total number of event coordinators in the Westminster venue’s events office to six, reporting to Vedrana Dancerelle, who heads up Reactive Sales and Event Planning.

Lauren hails from Portsmouth and has previously studied Psychology. She then joined a London-based hotel as an event planner and was quickly promoted to event manager. During the two years at the hotel she gained valuable event planning experience arranging corporate events.

Lauren replaces Katie Housego, who is leaving Church House to go travelling to Australia for two years.

“I am delighted to be working alongside such an experienced team. Church House Westminster is a versatile London venue accommodating a wide variety of events such as awards dinners and product launches, and I look forward to the exciting opportunities ahead” commented Lauren on her appointment.

Robin Parker, GM of Church House Westminster, added: “We are delighted to welcome Lauren to Church House. I am confident that she will enjoy working with our close-knit team and excel at planning future events for our current and new clients.”.
