Kelsey Media, publishers of 30 motoring magazines and websites, plus organisers of many live action events including Ford Fest, Japfest, Trax and the Performance Vauxhall Show, has announced that it will be working in partnership with the East of England Arena and Events Centre (EEAEC) in 2019, to stage one or more events at the venue next year.

Phil Weeden

Phil Weeden, managing director of Kelsey Media, explained his enthusiasm for the partnership with EEAEC, saying “With an editorial and events office in Peterborough, it makes total sense for Kelsey Media to work with a venue on our doorstep. But it’s not all about convenience: we’re excited about the potential at the East of England Arena. The scope of the site plus the flexibility and support of the staff there, means there’s an almost unlimited array of options open to us when it comes developing new events.”

“Kelsey Media’s portfolio of brands is evolving all the time,” continued Weeden,” and expansion in the events space is clearly part of our long-term plan. To that end, we’re very excited to be working with the East of England Arena to explore options for the future.”

Jason Lunn

Jason Lunn, EEAEC venue director, welcomed the agreement saying, “This is a tremendously exciting opportunity for us, and the whole team is looking forward to working with Kelsey Media to realise their event ambitions at East of England Arena. With our motorsport heritage, and Kelsey’s strong stable of titles and events, I’m confident we will be able to do great things together in 2019.”
