iVvy, the world’s first real-time booking engine for the events industry will be launching in the UK in June 2018.The software will enable venues to publish live-availability and pricing for their meetings and event spaces, while equipping them with the tools to market and manage their function space, all from the one centralised location.

After launching in Australia in 2009, iVvy now has over 12,000 users across 13 countries and has established corporate partnerships to allow for global distribution of inventory.Made up of three essential elements, iVvy connects the meeting planner with the supply chain in a bid to bring together the entire events ecosystem.

For the event planner, the iVvy Marketplace is a venue finding portal that offers organisers the ability to search, book and pay for their event space online instantaneously, with a direct connection to venues showing real-time pricing and live availability for their function spaces, catering and group accommodation.

The iVvy cloud-based Venue Management Software enables venues to manage their meetings and event space by publishing live availability, optimising sales activity and allowing for real-time bookings. The venue management software includes a CRM system, an online function diary, a drag & drop floor plan designer, virtual run sheets, an invoicing facility and the option to add catering and AV packages to their listing. Venues are also given access to an instant and customisable reporting functionality and are provided with a real-time booking widget that sits on their own website, to help drive revenue through the lowest cost of channel.

For the event professional, the iVvy Cloud-Based Event Management Software offers a range of powerful tools to help plan, publish, promote and manage events, streamlining the entire process. With a customisable drag & drop website feature, event organisers can create stunning, high impact event websites as well as giving them the ability to manage registration, exhibitors, speakers, sponsors, budgets and even hotel inventory all from the one place.

Lauren Hall, CEO of iVvy said: “Whilst almost every other aspect of the travel and hospitality industry has real-time booking capabilities, the meetings and events industry remains incredibly disparate. With iVvy, we’re bringing together this highly fragmented industry by connecting buyers with suppliers to provide M&E professionals with the same efficiencies.”Hall continues: “As buying behaviour continues to change, statistics show that over 63 percent of event buyers search for venues outside of office hours. By providing them with immediate access to venue information, we’re eliminating the need for RFP; reducing the time it takes to organise an event from weeks to minutes. iVvy meets the demands of the customer during their buying decision, by increasing the ability for venues to convert leads into bookings instantly.”

The iVvy cloud-based management platform enables hotels and venues to offer a 24/7 events business. The platform reduces costs, increases revenue and profit and improves the entire event experience.

iVvy Marketplace is free to use for event buyers whilst venues pay a monthly subscription for the venue management platform and live booking function. iVvy will soon be announcing UK partnerships that will help increase the services available to event buyers on the iVvy Marketplace website.
