Glisser today announced that it has achieved its ISO 27001 Certification of Registration, signalling its continued commitment to outstanding client data protection within the event technology market.

The ISO 27001 standard is focused on the high level goal of ensuring organisations have a management system that drives continuous information security improvement. It’s a proactive approach to managing the risks to the security of a company’s sensitive information.

Mike Piddock, Glisser’s founder and CEO, commented “We’re delighted to achieve this ISO 27001 certification. One of the major motivating factors in gaining the standard was the depth, breadth and absolute insistence on quality of the clients we work with. Data protection is business-critical in industries such as banking, finance, pharmaceutical, healthcare and the public sector, and technology companies need to step up and support this. It’s been at the core of our operations this year, and so we’re pleased the time and effort invested has paid off.”

With cyber-crime and data security increasingly hitting the front pages, Glisser’s accreditation demonstrates that the very best scale-up businesses can help reassure enterprise clients that their data is secure and their processes are at the forefront of regulations.
