Gleanin, the world leading referral marketing software provider for the events industry, has launched a new SaaS platform. It’s a toolkit that enables marketers to create engaging advocacy campaigns for key influencers in their event communities, which attracts new attendees for their events.

CEO, Tamar Beck, commented: “When COVID-19 hit, every event marketer had to pivot on their strategy. So, we made it our mission to help them get back on track. We used the enforced downtime to create a new suite of community marketing tools.”

Peter Richards, Gleanin CTO, added: “We’re really excited about this new SaaS platform. Things have changed a lot in recent years. We now live in a trust economy and base our buying decisions on the advice and referrals of people in our trusted networks. Gleanin enables event organisers to cut through the noise and reach the people they want to attend their events with authentic messaging.”

One of the earliest customers to come on board with the new platform was The PIE, an independent events company connecting a global community of professionals working in international education. Sales and marketing director, Melissa Palleschi, said: “We’ve been working with the Gleanin team and have been really happy with their product and service. The assets allow us to see how our social shares are working for us to promote our virtual events and our awards. We’re seeing far bigger numbers at our events.”

Gleanin has seen a fantastic response from existing and new customers and the platform is already being used across the globe in Europe, the Middle East and the US by organisers ranging from the likes of Informa, Reed Exhibitions and Clarion down to small independent conference organisers.
