GL events UK will deliver audience infrastructure for Butlin’s Nitro Circus weekend, an explosive showcase of all-star freestyle motocross stunts and tricks.

Following its support of the Professional Darts Corporation 2019, UK Open and Players Championship Finals in February and March 2019, GL events UK was selected to install more than 2,500 tiered seats for the event, taking place at Butlin’s Minehead from Friday 28 June to Monday 1 July 2019.

A bespoke arena setting will be created inside the resort’s iconic Skyline Pavilion, with a pair of 4m-high grandstands on either side of the venue offering intimate views of the entertainment to be unveiled in an all-new show.

GL events’ specialist in-house UK seating and stadia team will create the grandstands, which will incorporate 50 wheelchair positions, in a day and a half; dismantling and removing the installation in just one day.

Spectators will benefit from GL events’ Olympic-standard seating product, one of the widest and deepest individual tip-seats available for large-scale temporary audience infrastructure.

Chris Mansell, GL events’ UK Director and General Manager, Seating and Stadia, commented: “We’re delighted to be returning to Butlin’s Minehead to partner in the creation of this event. Our giant grandstands will perfectly compliment the show, providing high-quality, comfortable seats for event-goers as well as proven collaboration and reliable site operations for our client.”

Event-goers will also enjoy exclusive big-screen TV content, Nitro Circus-themed participation activities and master classes, as well as meet-and-greet opportunities throughout the all-inclusive weekend event.

Mike Godolphin, Head of Entertainment at Butlin’s, commented: “Nitro Circus Weekender promises to be a spectacular and thrilling event for fans of all ages. The atmosphere on the resort across the three days will be electric and we can’t wait for fans to experience the phenomenal live spectacle of Nitro Circus in an arena that’s purpose-built especially for the weekend.”
