RTX, the event where gaming meets the internet, is thrilled to announce RTX London, the third instance of the event, and second international destination. RTX is a division of pioneering media and entertainment company Rooster Teeth (Red vs. Blue, RWBY, Day 5) and is a weekend celebration of video games, internet culture, and Rooster Teeth’s beloved influencers and programming.

U.K. native and Austin-transplant Gavin Free splits time between The Slow Mo Guys and Rooster Teeth’s gaming channel, Achievement Hunter, and is set to appear at RTX London along with a yet-to-be-announced roster of Rooster Teeth influencers and friends. Tickets for RTX London will become available in March at rtxlondon.com.

RTX Austin drew a record 60,000 plus attendees to downtown Austin in 2016. Exhibitor partners for the event included title sponsor Pizza Hut, 343 Industries and Geico Gaming. Twitch, the world’s leading social video platform and community for gamers, was RTX Austin’s official livestream partner. RTX Sydney launched in January 2016 and the 2017 event is currently underway and attendees are enjoying incredible programming, including a panel with legendary video game designer Hideo Kojima and exhibitors including Xbox, Alienware, Bethesda, and Nintendo.

“The Rooster Teeth community in the U.K. is large and passionate. We’re excited to expand our presence to London with this RTX, our first European RTX,” said Bethany Feinstein, Director of Events at Rooster Teeth. “RTX brings Rooster Teeth influencers, YouTubers, video games and the best of the internet to one place and we can’t wait to start that party in London.”

“We’ve grown RTX from a 600 person event in a field to an attendance of 60,000 in Austin and international events in Sydney and now London,” said Gus Sorola, co-founder and Executive Producer at Rooster Teeth. “We’re going to drink all your tea and eat all your tikka masala, so get ready London!”

“We are delighted to be the host venue for RTX London and will support their ambition to grow their event in our city,” said Andrew Swanston, Head of Sales, ExCeL London. “For this cutting-edge event, ExCeL provides a state-of-the-art, modern environment for people to come, get creative, express their ideas and be inspired. We look forward to welcoming thousands of enthusiastic visitors to our venue later this year.”
