Today sees the launch of Future Live Today, a digital intelligence agency for events, spearheaded by Ben Turner, MD & Founder, and Digital Innovation Director Neil Mortimer, of the award-winning event agency Wonder.
Future Live Today will focus on building a digital infrastructure that will provide a human-centric data channel that will enable clients, organisers, partners and attendees to achieve their event objectives, whilst also providing the framework to analyse, track and measure the results. A key focus is on measuring ROI and to allow results from events to be measured against other marketing channels.
The Future Live Today concept was created by the founder’s desire to instigate a more informed digital revolution in the event industry and create a ‘eureka moment’ for CMOs around the globe, who have for a long time struggled to comprehensively justify their investment in events.
Central to the Future Live Today offering is anOpen API Cloud, that will connect all best in class technologies and data points. This will provide marketers with a single point of reference containing all recorded metrics, enabling events to benefit from incredibly granular detail and learnings that can be used to drive audience engagement and map a clear path to achieving the overarching event objectives.
“I am so excited at the launch of Future Live Today,” said Neil Mortimer. “There is a drastic need to evolve the event industry into the digital age. Events need to modernise their format to address that customer experience is evolving in every other channel. CMO’s of major organisations, who spend an increasingly large percentage of their marketing budget on events, must have the ability to measure their successes in the same way that they measure the rest of their marketing spend.
Ben has worked closely with Neil in creating the vision for Future Live Today. At Wonder, Ben Turner has built an enviable client list that includes Google, BT, Santander, Visa, Deliveroo and Nike. Having experienced working across Google Cloud’s flagship programme of events over the past four years, Ben fully appreciates the impact tech and data are having on the world.
“I am delighted to announce the launch of Future Live Today. Having worked together for over a year to set up the business, it is great that Neil will lead this forward. His vision and insight has been central to this launch and we are incredibly confident that Future Live Today will be a game-changer in our industry,” said Ben.
“The requirement for events to integrate better into the wider data-driven marketing strategy is absolutely evident. In fact, the potential impact of technology on the entire vertical is massive. Future Live Today will very much position us at the forefront of this conversation and will see us driving the changes that are so desperately needed to make events even more powerful and relevant in today’s business environment.”
Neil is on tomorrow’s podcast with James Dickson talking more about Future Live Today and will be appearing on stage at Event Tech Live on the 7th November at the Old Truman Brewery, London to share the vision for Future Live Today and present Real-life experiences, a technology destiny to inform everything.
Adam Parry, Event Industry News Editor and Event Tech Live Director added
“It’s great to see visionaries like Neil and Ben forming a company to support the evolution of events by creating the tools and insight that CMO’s have been crying out for in order to take physical events to the standard we have come to expect from data-driven marketing. Events will no longer be an intangible part of the marketing mix but proven and actionable thread to a company’s strategy.”
