Far and Beyond Events Ltd (FAB) have the pleasure of announcing their new Health and Safety division, as they welcome Andy Mackenzie into their growing team as Head of Health and Safety.
As well as onsite Health and Safety cover, FAB will be offering H&S event documentation creation including CDM Management, Local Authority Liaison and Major Incident Planning. They have also launched an online H&S Induction Portal which can be tailored to any event.
Andy Mackenzie comments, “When Hannah and Jess approached me to join the Far and Beyond Team, I had no difficulty in making my decision. Having worked closely with them both for many years, I have experienced first-hand their work ethic, drive and passion for delivering world-class events. I am excited to join forces with them again and relish the opportunity to drive myself and the business forward. 2018 is already shaping up to be a big year for FAB and by opening up a Health and Safety division, we will help to bridge the gap between Event Management, Licencing, Operations and Safety”.
Jess Shields, Partner at Far and Beyond Events, says “Event Operations and Health and
Safety work hand in hand, so it felt right that we set up a Health and Safety department at
FAB to offer our clients a more rounded service. With extensive knowledge of Licensing, Local Authority Liaison and Event Paperwork already within the team, taking Andy on board allows us to offer our clients a one-stop shop for all of their Event Management needs. Andy is incredibly well respected within the industry and has extensive operational experience. He is both IOSH and NEBOSH qualified and has in-depth knowledge of Counter Terrorism preventative techniques and their practical application. Having worked on all manner of events from clubs to arenas, sports stadiums and festival sites (including both parks and greenfield sites), and with his past experience as a Venue Manager, Andy’s event experience and venue knowledge is vast.
Andy has worked across the UK and Internationally which mirrors FAB’s current client roster, and in joining the team we hope that Andy will further expand on FAB’s reputation for delivering events all over the world. Andy’s knowledge is an exciting addition to our experienced team and we are so pleased to have him on board.”
Health and Safety documentation and licensing services are available with immediate effect, with onsite services being available from May 2018 as Andy is currently in Australia working on the Commonwealth Games.
