There were certainly no slip-ups for any of the artists and performers at Leeds & Reading Festival this year. EFS Europe returned to the Festivals to once again keep the artist and backstage areas mud free – a good job considering the rain!

Headlining the iconic festivals this year were Kings of Leon, Fall Out Boy, The Kooks, Kendrick Lamar and N.E.R.D.

EFS installed over 1,000m2 of its British Racing Green Temp-A-Path to create safe pedestrian access for artists and production staff. The product was deployed around the village of portakabins that are used as dressing rooms, and also to create clear access from those areas to the main stage.

In addition, the Reading site also used a further 100m2 of Temp-A-Path in and around the female toilet areas. EFS Europe also supplied and installed the carpets within all of the artist dressing rooms, of which there were 22 at each site in 2018.

Both festivals have increased the use of EFS Europe’s Temp-A-Path in the last four years, with the product’s easy installation by hand giving it the ability to be retrospectively installed once all of the portakabins have been located in position.

EFS Europe Business Development Manager Jeremy Simpson said:

“We’re delighted to have increased our work with Festival Republic over the last four years and we’re really proud of how well the products have performed at both sites. Both the Reading and Leeds Festivals are significant parts of the British summer festival season and to play a part in them is a great marker for our company.”
