A feel-good festival of food and music for all the family, The Big Feastival began its journey in 2011 on Alex James’ Farm in Kingham. Now looking ahead to the 7th edition, Danco is pleased to have recently been confirmed as the primary marquee hire contractor.

With over 38,000 sqft of temporary structures awarded in the multi-year contract, the event organisers were looking for a supplier with a quality product and the capability to deliver various marquee sizes safely and on-time. With our structures acting as everything from food villages, to a VIP area and the merchandise marquee, versatility is key.

Les Johnson, Sales Director at Danco, said: “With such an adaptable hire stock, Danco is well placed to serve the festival industry across the UK. Adding The Big Feastival to our varied portfolio of clients is a great achievement and, as our clients have come to expect, we look forward to providing an excellent product and service”.

Following a meeting at the Danco hospitality pavilion at Badminton Horse Trials Daniel Filmer, Junior Operations Manager for IMG Arts & Entertainment commented: “A massive thank you for having us, the hospitality area, in particular, looked fantastic. After seeing your great work, I am very much looking forward to working with you at The Big Feastival”.

The large-scale installation, with marquees ranging from 6m Chinese hats to 80ft traditional pole marquees and 15m wide clear span frames, begins mid-August. The Big Feastival is to be held in Oxfordshire from 25th-27th August 2017.
