Multiplay Events launches Multiplay Rentals: its new event hardware rental arm.

Multiplay Events

Multiplay Events, the UK’s leading games events company, has today announced the launch of Multiplay Rentals the rental arm to Multiplay Events. The company now offers the full range of services to facilitate large scale events from hardware rental and event logistics to broadcast solutions and complete event management.

Multiplay Events has been delivering world class events for over two decades, with its own festival ‘Insomnia’ now the UK’s biggest video game convention. Multiplay has also produced MineCon, the world’s leading Minecraft video game convention since 2012 and recently acquired the license to run BRICKLIVE, the biggest LEGO® fan event in the UK. Building on this success and experience, Multiplay has expanded to now offer a specialised rental service; providing top range pieces of event equipment for all event types.

Andy Smith, Director of Events at Multiplay, commented:

This new investment in our events division makes Multiplay one of the only event rental companies that offers a fully integrated package as owners, organisers and hardware providers of major UK events. This means that we have a unique understanding of the needs of other events owners who may be looking for both general and specialised hardware. We look forward to embarking on more partnerships with event organisers to deliver more world-class events.”

As well as events, Multiplay’s digital server business continues to go from strength-to-strength, and it currently provides hybrid server hosting services for Ready at Dawn’s latest release Deformers, Respawn’s AAA title Titanfall 2, and Tripwire Interactive’s Killing Floor 2.
