Eventuality Group appoints 2 new non-executive directors

The event and drinks industry company, Eventuality Group, has appointed senior industry figures, Nick Morgan and David Haimes, as non-executive directors.

Former ITSU CEO Mr Haimes, will be an adviser to the Group, which holds The Cocktail Service and Bar Nation in its portfolio. Mr Morgan, CEO of We Are The Fair and We Are Placemaking, will help Bar Nation with its strategic development. 

The Cocktail Service provides premium bar & cocktail services for private & corporate events, drinks & luxury brands, delivering more than 600 events per year. Its clients include Adidas, Facebook, Google, Harrods, Quintessential Brands and Inception Group. Bar Nation delivers full retail bar solutions for festivals and public events. Providing infrastructure, stock, staffing, finance, consultancy and project delivery services. They were founded by business partners Tom Bronock, Nick Ford and Casey Small. 

Mr Haimes said: “I accepted the offer to become a director as I am genuinely excited by the growth prospects for the business and fully believe in Tom, Nick and Casey delivering on their strategy to take the business to the next level.”

Mr Morgan said: “I am always very keen to work with entrepreneurs where I feel I can add value. Tom, Nick, Casey and the team have aspirations that resonate with both my values and determined ambition.”

Tom Bronock, director of Eventuality Group, said: “These are the first two external appointments onto our board. David will be a group advisor and Nick will be advising Bar Nation. We are very excited to start working with both directors as they will bring a wealth of experience into the fold and help us achieve our ambitious growth plans over the coming years.”

Nick Ford, director of Eventuality Group said: “David has huge pedigree and has acted as an advisor to the Board for over two years. He has a proven track record of growing some of the biggest businesses in the UK and his insight will be invaluable. Nick is one of the most recognised names in the festival and outdoor events industry in the UK. We have worked alongside his agency The Fair for some years and want to emulate the values and reputation of this industry leader in festival production. Nicks advice and strategy in our next phase of growth for Bar Nation is going to be vitally important. We feel these appointments demonstrate our ambition and will help us map out our strategy and delivery going forward.”

Mr Haimes has held senior positions at ITSU, Shell, Yum, Luminar Leisure, Obika, Tchibo and Prezzo. Mr Morgan founded the Big Cat Group in 2000 and has over 23 years’ experience across large-scale Event Production, Licensing and Health & Safety within public realm, large scale events and festivals. He is a council member of NOEA, sits on the AIF Board, is a member of the NTIA.

Eventuality Group was founded in 2009 and is based in Oxford, as are The Cocktail Service and Bar Nation.
