The Eventist Group, a portfolio of eight well-known brands in the hospitality, catering and events industry has expanded its business further through its latest acquisition of Corporate Events International (CEI).

The Group has seen substantial growth over the last two years with the addition of Zafferno and Walled Garden Syon joining its group of brands. The acquisition of Corporate Events International cements the Group’s position as one of the leading events companies within the UK.

Corporate Events International is an events and production house working with many of the country’s most exclusive venues delivering corporate, private and community events. A portfolio of nine brands, the company works with many national and international organisations to execute bespoke and refreshing conferences that specialise in creating outdoor environments that fully engage delegates and brands. CEI retains its client base by delivering exceptionally high return on investment statistics for their clients whilst managing the full event timeline, from brand activation to conferences, festivals, community events, venue sourcing and technical design.

Eventist Group will revert CEI back to its former name, The Corporate Festival Company (TCFC) with the brands remaining entirely intact. The business will continue to operate as an independent entity recognising the enviable brand reputation and integrity the company maintains. All of the key team are being retained as part of the acquisition and there are no plans for any mergers within the Eventist Group’s existing brands.

Sarah-Jane Williams will continue to lead CEI/TCFC as CEO with the company retaining its Fareham premises with the same stronghold team of experts.

Tim Stevens, managing director of Eventist Group, spoke of his delight at the successful acquisition of Corporate Events International: “We are thrilled to have had the opportunity to bring CEI on board, a highly respected company with a fantastic and creative team of experts in their field. This is also a great opportunity for Eventist to further its offerings through incorporating new and exciting creative channels which complement our existing brand portfolio.”

Sarah-Jane Williams of CEI commented: “The team are delighted by the new union and know how much the Group appreciates our passion, creativity and ‘dare to be different’ approach. The union compliments our combined brands beautifully, allowing scope to further grow the business and enhance our offerings to existing partners and clients. Above all, we are appreciative of the retention of our exceptional team who are an integral part of our brand, identity and reputation.”
