Eventex Awards – the ultimate benchmark in the events world, has announced the winners in the 9th edition of the global competition. 331 entries from 42 countries competed tо grab the prestigious accolade. This year the awards have expanded in scope to encompass all aspects of the event industry – events, suppliers, technologies, venues and more.
First prize in the Grand Prix Best Event went to ‘In Your Bones’ by The Embassy – OIC. Runner-up was ‘Cisco Live’ by George P. Johnson. ‘C2 Montréal’ by C2 Montréal ended up in third placе.
The agencies that grabbed the most trophies are: XSAGA with 11 prizes (7 first prizes, 2 second and 3rd places), The Embassy – OIC with 6 prizes (5 first prizes and one 3rd place), Sumo Eleven – 6 prizes, Luka – 5 prizes.
The winner in the Grand Prix People’s Choice Event – the only category decided by public voting, is ‘Liverpool’s Dream – Giant Spectacular’ by the Liverpool City Council.
First prize in some of the brand new categories this year won: Zenus, Inc. for Best Event Technology, Liverpool for Best Destination, Almar Jesolo Resort & Spa for Best Hotel Venue, Mad River Ltd for Best Event Team, Sila Sveta for Best Set Design Supplier, Yellow Entertainment for Best Entertainment Supplier.

The online ceremony this year marked the end of Eventex Creative Week – the online series devoted to the world of events whose ultimate goal is to inspire and boost creativity. In that spirit of creativity and innovation, the winners were announced by artists, music performances, gamified urban style videos and in other unusual ways.
