By integrating session registration preferences and users’ favourited content with IBM’s Cognitive Computer APIs, Watson generated customised recommendations. Using iBeacons for indoor microlocation, Eventbase further personalised attendee experience with localised referrals – a truly cognitive experience.
Packaged in a slick native interface, attendees were able to engage with a chatbot powered by Watson via talk or type. Watson’s Conversation and Natural Language Processing (NLP) guided attendees with interactive answers to session inquiries, general event information, and map directions across the massive event campus.
