Partnership gives local arts and entertainment organisations more flexibility to evolve revenue models and manage their venues as an asset

Spektrix, the leading cloud-based box office software for arts and entertainment organisations, today announced a new feature that combines the streamlined benefits of Artifax event management with the ticketing, marketing and fundraising functionality Spektrix clients already enjoy.

Using the new Artifax Event Importer, Spektrix users can take advantage of new functionality to better manage event planning, room hire, resource scheduling, artistic and production calendars, education bookings and tour schedules. The new Artifax Event Importer simplifies and reduces the time required to set-up new events, easily importing event details from Artifax into Spektrix with just a few clicks.

As arts organisations continue to respond creatively to austerity, treating their buildings and data like assets and re-designing their business models to accommodate new sources of revenue, has become more important.

Spektrix are the first to integrate with the new Artifax cloud solution and create a smooth connection between their best-in-class venue management and ticketing systems. Box Office managers can benefit from a straightforward event set-up process, saving time and reducing errors by reducing the need to set up events twice.

Michael Nabarro, CEO and co-founder of Spektrix, commented: “We are very pleased to offer key capabilities of ArtifaxEvent to Spektrix clients. It can help arts organisations maximise the revenue potential of venues and make it easier to work collaboratively across teams.”

Sarah Verge, Managing Director of Artifax, commented:“We are delighted to be working with the team at Spektrix to help our joint clients leverage their investment in both applications.”

Rollout of Artifax Event Importer begins in November 2018.
