Celebrate London Tech Week with fellow event professionals and event technology companies at Event Tech Lab’s summer BBQ on Tuesaday 12th June. Last year the lab hosted over 1000 event professionals in Holborn to celebrate all things tech. This year – again with major sponsorship from ibtm world – the BBQ promises to be bigger and better.

Event Tech Lab founder, James Morgan says ‘this is simply a free-flow informal get together for event professionals and technology companies who want to come together and celebrate technology”. Morgan continues “come along for some light-hearted banter, great music, cold beer and wine and a tasty BBQ. Talk about nerdy tech stuff, your events and exchange ideas and knowledge on technology and innovation in the events industry”.

The occasion will also see the launch of the worlds most successful event technology start up competition – ibtm world’s Technology Watch. It’s the longest running technology competition in the industry – chaired by technology industry stalwart Corbin Ball. Spaces at the event are limited to people who work in the events industry or commission events. Attendees will be from a technology company, or are an event organiser, or from an events or marketing agency or in-house corporate event team or represent a venue.

This event is FREE to attend. Registration details can be found on Event Tech Lab’s Facebook page with a link to the facial recognition ticketing website Regie.

The event could only go ahead with generous sponsorships from ibtm world, Evolution Dome, Viva Live Music, Event Industry News, Regie and Zenus Biometrics.
