Exhibitors of Event Tech Live enjoyed a day filled with networking, refreshments and top advice yesterday (11th September) when they gathered at 1 Wimpole Street, London, to learn how to get the most out of the show.

Offering ample opportunities to connect with fellow event professionals, the day was filled with presentations from industry experts including Matt Coyne from Visit by GES, Katie Morhen from 52eight3, Krystle Davis from AEO, Tim Groot and Laurie Delpino from Grip, Matt Rakowski from DBpixelhouse and Hellen Beveridge from Data Oversight.

The speakers covered a range of topics including marketing, lead generation, exhibitor success, GDPR and matchmaking, presenting their advice and experiences before sitting down to engage the audience in a Q&A panel session.

Katie Morhen, director at marketing agency, 52eight3, presented her top tips for marketing an exhibition stand. She said, “I was delighted with yesterday. Everyone gained something, whether it was advice, ideas, connections or all of the above!

“Days like these are so important for exhibitors to gain crucial insights so they can get the most out of their stands.”

Exhibitor, Maggie Bruk from Shocklogic, described the sessions as “valuable” to her and her team. She added: “We’ve learnt a lot about the preparation that we need to do before the show to get the best out of it. It’s been great to hear about the different tools that we can use.”

Co-founder of Event Tech Live, Adam Parry, commented: “It was great to see that so many exhibitors saw the value of our masterclass. We’ve had nothing but positive feedback and we’re looking forward to doing the same next year.”

Following the masterclass, guests were invited to a networking BBQ hosted by Event Tech Lab and sponsored by Event Tech Live.
