The highly anticipated first day of Event Tech Live has drawn to a close and organisers have hailed it a “huge success”.

Today (6th November), the show has encouraged innovation, discussion and networking from principal event professionals from all over the world, with tomorrow (the last day of the show) due to be just as busy.

Major names from the event industry – such as D2i Systems, Cvent, DBpixelhouse and Exposure Analytics – have rolled out their exhibition stands to welcome guests, startups and fellow peers within the industry.

The five stages – Brand & Buzz, Festival & Future, MarTech, Conference & Creativity and the Expo & Engage – drew crowds throughout the day. Each stage is dedicated to a different sector within the event industry and hosted various speakers from a range of backgrounds. Panel discussions, presentations and Q&A sessions drew engaged audiences that were eager to learn the newest trends, best practices and latest news in the world of event tech.

Co-founder, Adam Parry, commented: “Each year, we throw more and more at this show and, each year, we get a bigger response. It’s been an absolute pleasure seeing so many people make their way to the show this year. We’ve had excellent feedback from the exhibitors and speakers which, as an event organiser, is really rewarding.”

Exhibitor Matt Wilson from D2i Systems said: “Today has been incredible. We brought in a fuller team than last year which was good because it’s been a busy morning and all our leads have been good, quality leads. There’s so much to see and do, visitors could easily spend all day here.”

Visitor Ivan Grisedale from Tilkee had high praises for the show, stating that he came this year to “check it out”. After being impressed by the numbers, stands and content, he said: “We’re definitely coming next year to exhibit.”

Having enjoyed the success of day one, the crowds and exhibitors have left to make the short journey to Troxy where the eagerly awaited Event Technology Awards will take place.

Day two of Event Tech Live is set to be just as busy and engaging as today! It runs from 9:30-16:30 and is completely free to attend. Don’t be the only one missing out – register now.
