The Event Technology Awards 2018 (ETA) has unveiled the first tier of its illustrious judging panel.

Best use of AI is a new ingredient among 30 categories under the spotlight this year and ETA organisers have picked a perfect mix of professionals to sort the best from the rest. Abigail Dakin, Events Director EMEA at Time Out, Charlotte Hammerbeck, Director of Meetings Technology at GSK, 52eight3’s Director, Kate Crocombe, and Mathys Taekema, Business Development Director for Amsterdam RAI Exhibition and Convention Centre, are among the names.

Co-founder Adam Parry comments: “Like pretty much every industry, live events are far beyond the ‘should I/shouldn’t I use technology’ stage. It’s about refining the solutions now, learning what will deliver a demonstrable difference to the process of putting an event on, inside or out, and measuring its impact. The Event Tech Awards, and the experts who are giving their time to rate the submissions, reflect that journey.”
